[sidebar]I would recommend starting the day with a whole-grain cereal or oatmeal topped with low-fat milk and fresh fruit. The fiber in the cereal will help keep you full and satisfied. For lunch, try a turkey or other lean meat sandwich made with whole-grain bread. Try mashed avocado for a spread; it’s a healthy monounsaturated fat that will help keep you satisfied while supplying powerful phytochemicals. Don’t forget sliced tomato and romaine lettuce. For dinner, start with a hearty vegetable soup to fill you up, and have some protein and green vegetables or a salad. Munch on fruit and yogurt in between meals to keep you from getting hungry and to help boost your energy. I know you don’t have much time to exercise, but try to squeeze in a quick 10-minute walk daily. You will be amazed at how it revitalizes you! Good luck!
